We currently have great assignments for an Architectural Project Manager with one of our top clients. Our client is an international architecture and planning firm committed to creating environments that inspire connection, collaboration, community, and commerce. Located in McLean Virginia area.

Job Responsibilities

The Architectural Project Manager for the single family division will be responsible for leading and engaging with clients while handling the technical and financial performance of assigned project(s), to include:

  • Ensure high quality of design through Schematic Design, Construction Design and Construction Administration phases
  • Establish work plan, budget and schedule
  • Participate in building long-term client relationship and marketing efforts to maintain and grow client base
  • Manage and oversee code compliance, control costs, perform QA review and assist in contract negotiation
  •  Direct, organize and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversight of services

Job Requirements

The Architectural Project Manager will need to possess:

  • A college degree in architecture, design or a related discipline
  • 7 years minimum of experience in base building architectural design
  • Experience with developer-based residential architecture
  • 1 -2 years of project management experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Photoshop and graphic software; Revit a plus
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated personality and willingness to take on projects and assignments without the need for micromanagement of a supervisor
  • Professional Licensure highly recommended
