We currently have a great assignment for a Civil Transportation Engineer. This individual will support our client, a growing engineer service firm based out of Houston, TX with projects in the Texas area Mississippi. Job Responsibilities

The Civil Transportation Engineer will be responsible for supporting our client on multiple municipal transportation design projects.
Responsibilities of the Civil Transportation Engineer include:

  • Constructing and maintaining infrastructure projects and systems
  • Infrastructure Planning to include
    • Agency coordination
    • Permitting
    • CAD Design
    • Modeling services
  • Engaging clients on a routine basis and articulating technical information through written reports and oral presentations
  • Designing from beginning concepts to construction
  • Developing, reviewing and revising engineering drawings and roadway design plans
  • Working with city and municipal public works departments, Program Manager and support team

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the Civil Transportation Engineer include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas or Mississippi
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in civil engineering design to include:
    • Drainage
    • Highway
    • Sidewalks
    • Roadway design
    • Municipal services
  • Proficiency with the following software:
    • MicroStation – Version 2019
    • AutoCad Civil 3D Design – Versions 2018 and 2021
    • Geopak, Openroads
  • Authorized to work in the US
