We currently have a great assignment for Mechanical Engineer. This individual will support our client, an engineering and system integration company, based out of Minnesota, with projects throughout the US. Job Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)  will become a part of our client’s engineering team in New Market, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of A-E consulting processes including design, management, and client development. This position offers the potential for a management track.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer include:

  • Complete existing field investigations, develop conceptual design solutions, prepare engineering assessment reports, and basis of design reports
  • Lead HVAC design for complex facilities      
  • Prepare and manage the development of design and construction documents including drawings, calculations, specifications and reports
  • Apply standard engineering design principles and methodologies as well as applicable codes in the preparation of construction documents
  • Assist the Senior Project Manager with daily tasks associated with scope, schedule, and budget on larger projects while performing project management responsibilities for limited scope projects
  • Develop A-E scopes of services and fee proposals
  • Attend and participate in industry events

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the Mechanical Engineer include: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering
  • E.I.T on track to obtain Professional Engineering (P.E.) Licensure
  • Five (5) years of experience in HVAC engineering and design preferably in the consulting industry. Preferred industry experience includes Federal/DoD, civic, life sciences, health care, manufacturing, and higher education
  • Understand, interpret and reference current industry and Federal/DoD codes
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Architecture, Engineering & Construction Suite 2018
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Product Design & Manufacturing Suite 2018
  • Ability to pass federal background check
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
