We currently have a great assignment for Mechanical Engineer. This individual will support our client, an employee owned engineering firm, which supports clients in the industrial, commercial, transportation, federal and municipal markets. The company is based out of the Southeast with projects throughout the US. • Monitoring the progress of the work through daily field inspection, verifying that the work is being installed according to the accepted plans, specifications, and good engineering and construction practices.
• Participating in and providing technical advice in construction planning review
  • Provide technical interpretations of plans and specifications
  • Provide determination if methods and materials meet the requirements of the contract
• Assisting in producing the Government's Daily Quality Assurance Reports
  • Ensuring compliance by providing daily oversight of contract requirements and standards
• In accordance with the USACE 3-Phase inspection program, documenting of impactions, testing procedures and deficiency corrections
