Job Description

We currently have a hybrid assignment for a Program Manager - Construction in Ashburn, VA and Washington, DC. This position will be supporting a current a current renovation project in the Washington, DC area. Job Responsibilities

The Program Manager - Construction will be responsible for providing comprehensive oversight for a renovation project while ensuring client objectives are met and challenges are solved.

The responsibilities of the Program Manager - Construction include:

  • Ensuring timely deliverables per client requirements, conducting engineering analyses, overseeing report generation and quality assurance of all report submissions
  • Maintaining an appropriate ongoing relationship with the following:
    • Government client
    • Teaming partners
    • Subcontractors
    • Project assistant
  • Organizing and developing programs to support the organization’s strategic direction, creating and managing long-term goals, setting program controls, governance and standards
  • Developing and monitoring budgets, conducting requirement analysis, resource allocation, project costing and financial data monitoring
  • Levering industry best practices of processes and procedures to achieve optimum contract performance
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the Program Manager - Construction include:

  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering or architecture related technical field
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or registered Architectural Engineer
  • Ten (10) years of program management experience that includes Federal programs (e.g. EPA, FEMA, HUD); project management of Government projects ranging in size from $100k - $1M, and managing IDIQ contracts
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Construction Project Management
  • Proficiency in MS Project and/or Smartsheet or equivalent Project Management software
  • Current International Code Council (ICC) Commercial Building Inspector Certificate is preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work in Washington, DC and Ashburn, VA
  • Must be a US Citizen
