We currently have a great assignment for a Project Manager. This individual will support our client, a growing government contracting firm based out of Kalamazoo, MI, with projects throughout the US. Job Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall project implementation and overseeing that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Additional responsibilities for the Project Manager include:

General project administration and compliance to include:

• Reviewing and tracking project design
• Creating, reviewing, submitting and tracking RFI’s
• Working with onsite supervision and quality control to ensure safety compliance
• Preparing budgets and managing cost control to include:
  • Change Order Request
  • Invoicing
• Assisting with cost estimating and preparation
• Creating schedules, tracking progress and responding to issues and delays
• Coordinating subcontractors
• Overseeing the Superintendent and Construction Project Coordinator
• Communicating project status with the client and Construction Program Manager
• Creating and maintaining master project list to include:
  • Coordinating with onsite Supervisor and Quality Control
  • Coordinating subcontractors
  • Estimating assistance and preparation

Specific qualifications for the Project Manager include:

• Bachelor’s degree, construction management degree preferred
• Five (5) or more years of construction project management experience
• Three (3) or more years federal project construction experience
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project—version 2019 and up
  • SAGE 100
• Authorized to work in the US
