RealStreet, one of the premier companies supporting the construction industry, continues to grow and expand. This growth requires us to increase our recruiting staff reporting to our Marriottsville, MD headquarters immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for you or someone you may know. Our current approach is to hire three (3) two (2) people(one position has been filled). The two (2) candidates will have experience. and the other may not. Again, this is a great opportunity for the right person.

RealStreet provides our clients executive level construction and engineering management professionals. We believe our clients appreciate and profit from our efforts as measured by the repeat business we receive from them. One we attain success is knowing the details of our clients’ needs. Sometimes this means probing and asking questions that are not always obvious. Sourcing, locating and connecting with candidates that meet the clients’ needs and desires are absolutely the most challenging part of this job. To be successful in this position, you must be willing to hear the word ‘no’ quite often. Most candidates say no, most clients’ say no and frequently, we say no. The person that succeeds in this position will get past ‘no’ and move forward. Additionally, you must be driven to succeed regardless of how difficult a clients’ request may be. The client called us because they could not find the right person on their own and have given up on their own search. They are interested to see if we can do better. We know we will because we have a system that creates success and we will teach you how our system and processes work.

Job Requirements

Typical duties for this position include working with our business developers to assist them in ensuring the client’s requirements are understood. You will then begin the task of finding people who meet the requirements, are available and might be interested in the position. The hardest step is finding the people. We make significant resources available to enable you to perform this task. In the end, it is up to you to find the right people. You will screen them, interview them, present them to the client and hire them.


Self-driven, with a deep curiosity streak, detail oriented, quick thinking, and easy talking are a few of the traits that historically are found in the individuals that succeed in this position. You must be an expert at internet searches and fully prepared to put yourself out there every day.

Individuals that have experience working in customer service, including the hospitality industry, can succeed in our segment and are strongly encouraged to apply if they meet all of the above requirements. We also find that individuals with 3 – 5 years experience in the commercial construction business, that have great customer service skills and are looking to participate in a different part of construction succeed.
