Senior Construction Scheduler

We currently have an assignment for a Senior Construction Scheduler in Arlington, VA, supporting mission critical projects throughout the National Capital Region (NCR). Job Responsibilities
The Senior Construction Scheduler will be responsible for development of baseline construction schedules and tracking actual work progress for projects in planning, design, acquisition and construction phases.
The responsibilities of the Senior Construction Scheduler include:
- Evaluating the work of, and providing feedback to contractors with the result of an accepted cost-loaded baseline schedule that meets all Government submission requirements
- Participating in weekly project progress meeting and monthly pay application site walks to evaluate schedule progress
- Identifying departures from the accepted baseline schedule and evaluating risk to long-term project health
- Working with Project Managers and Estimators to develop and track progress of project lifecycle milestone schedules
- Preparing written and oral reports to Government leadership and program managers
- Direct supervision over a small team of schedulers while managing day to day workload, providing training as required and conducting performance reviews
Job Requirements
Specific qualifications for the Senior Construction Scheduler include:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management*
- Ten (10) years of related construction scheduling experience*
- Must be proficient in P6 and Microsoft Project
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (HSPD-12 fingerprint background check)
