We currently have a great assignment for a Senior Piping Designer. This individual will support our client, an engineering, procurement and construction services firm with projects around the world. Job Responsibilities

The Senior Piping Designer will provide engineering design and drafting support on multiple nuclear projects at a facility in South Carolina.

Responsibilities of the Senior Piping Designer include:

• Reading, interpreting and generating design drawings with minimal input from engineers
• Walking down field systems, with minimal guidance, to interpret field directions, generate minor design details, create new drawings and modify existing drawings
• Providing direction to junior drafters

Specific qualifications for the Senior Piping Designer include:

• Associate’s degree in engineering or another relevant field of study
• Ten (10) years of relevant piping design / drafting experience on engineering / construction projects, nuclear project experience is preferred
• Proficiency with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, with demonstrated experience modifying and producing drawings with minimum supervision
• 3D modeling experience is required, experience with S3D is preferred
• Ability to walk down field systems and interpret field direction
• Must be a US Citizen
