Job Responsibilities

The Senior Estimator is responsible for providing estimating services for procuring work through the leadership of the Preconstruction Manager.  Products delivered include budgets, estimates, schedules, subcontracts and pre-construction services.  The Senior Estimator must be a flexible and an adaptable team-player as well as have strong communication and client service skills.  Projects are located in Washington,DC and Baltimore, MD areas and responsibilities include:

  • Arranges and assembles work teams and solicit vendors
  • Assists in the development of bid strategies for projects
  • Creates subcontractor solicitation lists and ensures coverage on all scopes of work
  • Delivers preconstruction services (constructability review, system analysis, value management, etc.)
  • Creates and delegates scope assignments to other estimating team members

Position Summary:

  • Oversee and assist with all aspects of planning, design and rehabilitation components of project and manage team daily to meet and exceed project goals, tasks and requirements while mentoring junior engineers (typically 1-2 at a given time)
  • Oversee variety of projects in size and scope and at times, manage projects running concurrently based on company workload
  • Ensure deliverables and quality standards are met in accordance with the agreed upon scope, schedule and budget
  • Participate in client presentations and meeting updates throughout project lifecycle and manage all follow-up Actions Items

Job Responsibilities

 

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing key projects ranging in size from $1,000,000-$10,000,000 throughout the northern Maryland region.  Primary responsibilities for this position include the following:

Oversee direction of assigned projects from cradle to grave, effectively planning, managing and executing all key aspects of projects

Working directly with client, establish project objectives, scope, policies and budget

Conduct formal start-up meetings and planning meetings to orient the subcontractors with their specific scopes of work

Perform project scheduling while controlling direct job material and labor expenses

Monitor construction and financial activities of project to ensure project remains on time and under-budget

Develop a project logistics plan in conjunction with the project schedule to effectively and efficiently execute the work

Participate in constructability review meetings and present comments and concerns relative to site logistics, construction, material sections and required details

Job Responsibilities

 

The Senior Manager, Hotel Renovations will be responsible for leading the client’s brand new start-up endeavor of Hotel Renovations, specifically targeting Property Improvement Plans (PIP's) in select service to upper mid-scale hotels, and shall:

  • Identify project opportunities working from personal knowledge base of management companies that execute their own renovations (as opposed to those who outsource)
  • Track when hotel renovations are mandated by the brand franchise

As a Superintendent, you will be supporting our client, a commercial general contractor located in the Washington, DC. The Superintendent will oversee commercial buildings, educational institutions, and retail, restaurant and hospitality projects.  Projects are located mainly in Washington, DC area

Job Responsibilities

The Superintendent is responsible for the overall leadership of on-site construction operations. They will provide supervision and technical management of subcontractors and other construction related personnel, and include; the planning, coordination, and execution of the work so that projects are completed in a high quality and safe manner, meeting budget and schedule objectives. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Managing relationships with clients, internal team, subcontractors, and inspectors
  • Maintaining a three- week forecasts schedule to ensure projects are completed by specified deadlines, including daily reports and pictures
  • Ensuring materials are ordered and delivered to the job site on time and that they are verified and secured.
  • Scheduling subcontractors and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Controlling costs to ensure completion of the project within budget.
